ISO 14001:2015 Accreditation

ISO 14001:2015 is the international standard for the Environmental Management System, which looks at the way a company interacts with its environment. We’re proud of this accreditation as it demonstrates our ongoing commitment to the environment, reducing waste and working in an environmentally responsible manner.

We consider each and every aspect of all our internal processes and implement actions to eliminate or reduce the impacts that these may have on the environment. All waste is dealt with in an environmentally friendly manner through registered waste companies.

What Does ISO 14001 Mean?

At ReAgent, we review various aspects of our operation which interact with the environment, for example, our use of energy, the generation of waste, waste management, transport and spill management.  We then consider how these aspects interact with the environment.  Taking the use of energy as an example, this would involve the use of resources including gas, water, electricity and so on.  We then look at any areas of potential waste and what would happen were we not to consider these elements in our operation.

Our ISO 14001 accreditation is underpinned by our Environmental Policy which details what we are doing to manage our environment correctly and responsibly.

Benefits Of ISO 14001 Accreditation

There is a positive impact on the image of the company, which in this day and age of increasing environmental concern helps us to be competitive. There are increasing numbers of companies which look at environmental factors when doing business and auditing.

Additionally, the number of companies who will only conduct business with suppliers who are registered to this standard is increasing. There are further financial benefits too – if you can manage the situation to stop or reduce waste, such as introducing more energy efficient ways of working, it adds directly to the bottom line – plus the obvious benefit of minimising the impact we have on our environment.
