How Is Water Purified at ReAgent?

As trusted purified water suppliers, we understand the importance of next level quality. Our water purification process ensures this at every step. Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Deionisation of Water

We start off with common tap water from the mains supply. First of all, the organic material is removed using a special resin bed before the water passes through a Twin-Bed Deioniser.

• The first tank removes cations, and the second removes anions, resulting in a conductivity of typically 1 µS/cm or less.
• This process produces deionised-grade water, which forms the base material for further purification stages.

Step 2: Mixed Bed Resin and UV Treatment

Next, the deionised water flows through a Mixed Bed Resin, reducing impurities to below 0.05 µS/cm.

It then passes under ultraviolet (UV) light, destroying any residual microorganisms.

Step 3: Final Filtration

Finally, the water undergoes 0.2-micron filtration, removing the smallest traces of particulate matter and ensuring ultrapure quality suitable for sensitive applications.

Our Purified Water Plant

ReAgent’s purified water plant is split into two systems: a deionised water ring main and a high purity ring main. Our water plant has a maximum capacity of over 10,000 litres per hour. This means that we have the ability to fill 3 x 25,000 road tankers in a day, allowing us to fulfil large orders quickly and efficiently.

All purified water products should be stored in clean, sealed containers to prevent contamination and maintain purity.

• Keep containers closed when not in use
• Store in a cool, dry, and shaded environment away from dust or vapours.
• Use only dedicated dispensing equipment to avoid cross-contamination
